DESCRIPTION

Georgian Period

A stunning Georgian high carat gold chain made of woven gold.

The intricacy of the work is second to none, with fine strands of gold, delicately woven together to make a circular chain.

The colour has that rich gold hue that is only possible with antique gold.

The chain has a few different shades of gold where the gold has patinated over the years.

The necklace closes with a spectacular spherical clasp, which has tiny gold graduated flowers on every spoke.

The clasp closes securely with a satisfying click.

The necklace looks stunning when worn, with the clasp at the front or the back to give two very different looks.

This is a fantastic example of a hand made Georgian chain.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

The measurement will be in cm and inches.
We recommend you place a tape around your neck to see where the chain will sit.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
