THE OLD CUT STORY
The Old Cut is a British antique jewellery company based in London, England,
Offering a hand selected collection of period pieces, specialising in Georgian and Victorian eras.
The company launched in Summer 2020, by the founder (me) Penelope, after a 15-year career in the fashion industry.
I have always loved an antique fair and have been visiting all types of fairs across the country for years, searching for furniture, objet d’art and jewellery.
In the last 10 years jewellery became my passion and I have since turned this into the business ‘The Old Cut’.
I love every piece I source, it is an extension of my personal style.
I have found a whole new and exciting rabbit hole to dive into. Each day I learn and love more about this industry.
The different techniques, skill, and workmanship of the jewellery I discover is a wonderful way to discover history.
As I continue to uncover more treasure, The Old Cut will grow and evolve with my tastes and fascinations.
