A fantastic early 19th century 18ct gold and enamel demi parure suite, sold in the original red leather fitted box.

Circa 1830; The parure comprises of a beautiful pair of day/night enamelled earrings and a matching brooch, both crafted in 18ct gold.

The earrings which fasten from back to front, are day/night earrings, meaning the large drops can be removed to just wear the tops for a simpler ‘day’ look, then the drops can be added for a more dramatic evening look!

Add in the brooch, and the look is complete!!

Traditionally these pieces are super light, so very comfortable to wear!

The enamel is in fantastic condition with a floral design including a large central flower with colours of royal and deep blue, and pink roses on the earring tops. The flowers are surrounds by beautifully enamelled green leaves, a fine white border and swirls of gold.
The brooch even has tiny shell finials.

The earrings have the French owl import hallmarks to confirm 18ct gold.

Look epic when worn as a set or as individual pieces.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

Necklaces

All The Old Cut chains and necklaces have the total length detailed in the description.
The measurement will be in cm and inches.
We recommend you place a tape around your neck to see where the chain will sit.
Below is a basic guide to show some popular lengths – note, everyone’s neck is different, so this is just a basic guide.
JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
