A superb 18ct gold orb locket pendant, set with rose cut diamonds.

The orb is surmounted by a scrolled crest, which hangs from a chunky 18ct gold bail. 

The stones are set in a raised quatrefoil setting.

If this wasn’t enough, the orb opens to reveal the original bevelled glass locket. 
The hinge is almost invisible, and opens and closes securely.

The gold has that wonderful bloom that is only possible with jewellery of this period.

This pendant is Victorian, circa 1880/1890, yet is still so contemporary in design.

Hallmarked 18 on the bail. 

This is such an easy wear!

Would look gorgeous on an antique or modern chain!

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

The measurement will be in cm and inches.
We recommend you place a tape around your neck to see where the chain will sit.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
