A super sweet Victorian 9ct gold cuffed hand pendant.

The stipple textured gold hand has a central smooth heart on the palm.

The cuff is detailed and finely modelled as a ruffle cuff.

This, originally a stick pin has been converted to a pendant.

The reverse of the hand is a smooth shiny gold, there is a small hole in the gold where the pin was removed, see pics on website.

Often referred to as ‘The hand of Fatima’ this amulet was worn to ward off evil and bring the wearer luck and protection.

It also is seen as a love symbol -  ‘my heart is in your hand’

CONDITION

Excellent to the front, The reverse of the pendant has a small hole in the gold where the pin was removed.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
